A Method Job is the central service record that contains:

Customer feedback (CSAT, when applicable)
All scheduling, billing, and customer portal activity is tied back to the Method Job.

Q: Are Method Jobs related to Projects in QuickBooks Online?
A: They are not. Method Jobs is there to provide a cohesive workflow from request to invoice. It does not sync or utilize the Projects functionality in QuickBooks.
Q: Are Method Jobs related Jobs/Subcustomers in QuickBooks?
A: Method Jobs are not related to Jobs/Subcustomers. Throughout this Help Center, Jobs/Subcustomers will be referred to as "Jobs", whereas jobs related to the Method Jobs app will always be referred to as "Method Jobs".
