Charts showing an overview of the activities related to opportunities

Updated over a week ago

The third of the three chart sections deals with activities linked to opportunities in Method.

This information is displayed based on the user and date filters you set on the screen (see Intro to Opportunities Charts & Reports under Using the chart screen for details). There are three charts in this section, each of which are detailed below.

Overdue Activities by User

This chart displays:

  • The users who have overdue activities in the date range. If a user has no overdue activities in the date range, that user is omitted from the chart.

  • The number of overdue activities per user

Hovering over each section of the chart displays the exact number of overdue activities.

In the above example, Mary has six overdue activities assigned to her, as does Sam.

Clicking on Mary's bar opens a list showing the overdue activities:

Ideally, at the end of the day, all activities should be completed, and you should see no overdue activities in this chart.

Activities by Type

This chart displays:

  • All activities by type within a date range.

  • The total number activities for each type

Hovering over each bar displays the exact number of activities.

In this example, there have been five email outgoing activities.

Clicking the bar opens a list showing the email activities:

This shows the five email outgoing activities including the contact, the assigned Method user, and any pertinent comments.

Upcoming Follow-ups by User

This chart displays:

  • The user(s) assigned follow-ups in the given date range. If a user is not assigned a follow-up in the date range, that user is omitted from the chart.

  • The total number of assigned follow-ups for each user regardless of date range, follow-ups from before the current date and time are not included in this chart

Hovering over each bar displays the exact number of upcoming follow ups.

In this example, Mary has two upcoming follow-ups assigned to her.

Clicking Mary's bar opens a list at the bottom of the screen showing the follow ups assigned to her:

This shows all two upcoming follow-ups, including the contact, the activity type and any pertinent comments (not shown in above image).
