Note: For QuickBooks Online (QBO) users, QBO currently does not support sales order, even though Method:CRM does. Thus, if you create a sales order in Method:CRM, this will not sync to QuickBooks and taxes will not calculate.. However, if you create an invoice from this sales order, the invoice will sync as usual.
When your customer has accepted the terms of your estimate, you can create a sales order from the estimate. The following steps will walk you through the process of converting an estimate into a sales order.
Create a Sales Order from an Estimate
1. From your Method:CRM dashboard, click Active on your Estimate App.
2. This opens your Estimates List. Locate the estimate you wish to convert and click on it. You can search manually or use the search function at the top of the screen.
3. At the bottom of the estimate, click Create Sales Order.
This takes you to the Sales Orders App to create your sales order. For more information on sales orders, check our article Creating a Sales Order.
