Accessing Method AI in the Builder
Screens created with the Builder will have a Customize button in the title header. Clicking this button will allow you to select Customize in App Builder.
This will open up the Builder for the screen, a drag and drop platform where you can customize its functionality. Method AI chat panel will appear on the left side.
Prompt tips
When customizing components, name the component and its action set:
“the Email action set”
“the Save button's action set”.
When referencing field names, casual field names work: “internal notes” will find the field
Memo (Internal). If a name doesn't match, it asks which field you mean.If adding new actions to an action set, say the position: “At the beginning of the Email action set, before any existing actions…”.
When writing messages, put the exact message in quotes and give it a title:
“titled 'Site measurements needed' saying '…'”
End with “and stop” if nothing else should run when the check fails.
Wait until the header shows Saved before you click anything.
