Method AI helps you customize screens and workflows. This page explains what information it uses to do that.
What Method AI uses:
Your screen layouts: fields and components on the screen you're working on.
Your table and field structure: names and types of your tables and fields.
Your action sets: when you work with them in the Builder or the Action Editor.
What you type in the chat.
What Method AI does not use today:
Your QuickBooks or Xero data.
The records in your Method account, such as customers, invoices and estimates.
If this changes, we'll update this page and let you know before it takes effect.

Who processes your requests
Method AI uses third-party AI providers to understand and respond to your requests. Under our business terms with these providers, your information is not used to train their AI models.
Staying in control
Confirm what changed. The AI's reply in the chat describes what it tried to do. To see what actually changed, check the screen or the list of steps.
Runtime AI changes apply to the live screen right away, for everyone on your account. Use Undo or Show customizations to review or reverse them.
Builder AI changes stay in your draft until you publish.
