Method AI is the assistant built into Method. It works in three places, and each one behaves a little differently.

Two modes: Ask vs Build
When interacting with the chat, there will be a dropdown which can switch between two modes: Ask and Build.
Build - Makes the change you describe. Build is where the panel starts. Check the screen or the list of steps afterwards.
Ask - Explains the screen or action set in front of you and changes nothing. Switch the mode to Ask before you type.

Most requests take 20 seconds to a minute. Bigger ones can take 2–3 minutes. If you see “There was an error processing your request”, send the same request again.Pick the mode first.
Build makes changes. Ask explains and changes nothing. Within the prompt menu is a dropdown where you can select Build or Ask.One change per request.
