Hello, and welcome to Method. This article is a guide for administrators who are setting up Method:CRM. Usually, this will be the first person who installs Method, but it can be done by any Method user with admin permissions.

In most scenarios, connecting Method to your Xero account is an easy 5-10 minute DIY task. Follow the detailed steps in this article.

Before you get started using Method:

  • You'll need a Xero account. If you don't have one, you can sign up for a Xero trial.

  • You must be an administrator on your Xero account.

  • Your Xero account must be in North America. At the moment, Xero accounts outside of North America are not supported.

Sign Up For Method

  1. Sign in to your Xero account.

  2. Navigate to the Method's Signup page for Xero.

  3. Xero will ask if you will allow access for Method:CRM for the shown organization. If this is the correct organization, click Allow Access.

  4. Method will create your account. This may take a minute.

  5. Congratulations, you have just added your Method account! Your dashboard will look something like this:

Depending on what your role is in your company, you may have different Apps (the coloured boxes). Each app fulfills a different purpose and by clicking the app, you can manage the data within that app.
