The Sales Order App allows you to keep an accurate record of what your company has sold, and when. Unlike an invoice, a sales order is meant to record what your company needs to complete a customer's order– parts, inventory, services, and so on.

Note: For QuickBooks Online (QBO) Users: QBO currently does not support sales orders, even though Method does. Thus, if you create a sales order in Method, this will not sync to QuickBooks. However, if you create an invoice from this sales order, the invoice will sync as usual.
