Contacts Preferences

Configure email notifications for contact changes made through the customer portal.

The Contacts Preferences page allows administrators to configure how contact-related notifications are sent and how customer health is calculated across the system.


General

The General section controls email notifications for contact changes made through the customer portal.

Email Notification Template for Contact Add

Select an email template to notify Method users when a new contact is added via the customer portal.

Email Notification Template for Contact Edit

Select an email template to notify Method users when an existing contact is modified via the customer portal.


Health Score

The Health Score section allows you to define how a customer’s overall health is calculated using weighted factors.

Health Score Formula

The Health Score is calculated as:

(Engagement × Weight) + (Financial Health × Weight) +
(Sales Momentum × Weight) + (Support × Weight)

Health Score Weights

Each weight determines how much that factor contributes to the overall score:

  • Engagement: Measures how recently and how frequently you have interacted with the customer. This is based on your activities: days since most recent activity and number of completed activities within the last 30 days.

  • Financial Health: Reflects payment status from invoices and sales receipts: have they paid lately and are any payments overdue?

  • Sales Momentum: Represents future revenue potential based on opportunities and estimates: how many opportunities are open or won and any open estimates within the last 60 days.

  • Support: Considers the number of support cases open and created.

Adjust the weights to align the Health Score with your organization’s priorities.
