However, there will be no impact to existing users. Quickbooks Desktop will continue to receive security updates, product updates, and support, so you can continue to use it as you do today. Existing subscribers can also still renew after July 31st. Furthermore, Quickbooks Enterprise is not impacted.
If you do want to transition, here's how.
Method works on a 1-1 relationship with your QuickBooks file. However, there may be instances where you need to switch to a new QuickBooks file or account, such as when your current file is corrupted, outgrew your QuickBooks file, or when migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Method's Remapping tool allows you to retain your existing Method account and seamlessly connect with the new file or online account.

Method's Remapping tool currently supports the following remapping options:
QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Desktop: If you're transitioning to a new QuickBooks Desktop file, the remapping process is relatively straightforward and less time-consuming.
QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Online: Again, the remapping process is simplified due to the same platform.
QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online: This remapping process is more complex and can take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. Additionally, consulting work may be required to ensure a successful remapping.
NOTE: Not all scenarios may be eligible for remapping, and such cases will be assessed by the Method support team.

Remapping is a meticulous process that requires time and attention to detail. Method's support team will guide you through a discovery call, where they will evaluate your account and validate the data to be migrated.
During this process, the support team will provide an estimate of the time required to complete the remapping.
