A payment gateway allows you to accept credit card payments directly within Method.
All gateways allow Visa and MasterCard.
Some gateways accept AMEX, Discover, PayPal, and others.
Authorize.NET, QuickBooks Payments, and Stripe (USD only) accept ACH along with credit cards (enabling/disabling between these options currently not available).
Payment gateways are provided via a third-party platform called Shuttle. You can check their payment providers page for supported regions.
