Before you reset your password, it is important to know how you sign in. There are a few ways to sign in with Method:
Using the email used when you first signed up with Method
Using your Intuit credentials
Using your Xero credentials.
Using your Google credentials
Using your Microsoft credentials.
If you use SSO (Single Sign-On), then you would need to change your password on the respective platforms.
However, if you sign in by typing in an email and password, then continue.
What's My Sign in Email?
Resetting your password requires your signin email. If you do not know what it is, you can find it in your profile settings.
Clicking the upper-right Profile icon and then clicking User Profile.
Your Sign in Email is shown under Personal info and sign in.
Reset Your Password
Once you have your signin email, you can reset your password.
On a browser, navigate to signin.method.me and then click Forgot Password?
Type in your sign in email within Email Address then hit Submit.
After you hit submit, you will get this message. Check your email for a link sent from Method Integration.
The email will give you a link to reset your password as shown in the below image. Click the provided Create a new password link.
The link will take you to the Create new password page. Enter in your password twice taking note to follow the password format rules:
At least 8 characters
At least 1 upper case character
At least 1 lower case character
At least 1 number
At least 1 symbol from
@$-_.+!*'(),"'
No user or account details
No more than 2 sequential characters
No more than 2 repeating characters
Once you click Create Password, you are now able to log into Method with your new password.
